Labor Day

Just a few pictures from today! My mom made an AMAZING carrot cake that I ate way too much of, and Brett grilled! We LOVE our new grill that his mom bought as a housewarming gift! I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day!

We are looking forward to......

1. In October we are going to Gatlinburg with Jessica and Jeremy, Bree and Jimmy! I can't wait to have a relaxing weekend with great friends!

2. In December we are going to VEGAS with Russell and Haley and a few others! Brett is extremely excited about this trip! I am too!

3. Finally, in January we are going on our honeymoon! It will also be our year and a half anniversary. We're taking a cruise to Cozumel. Can't wait!

I absolutely love fall! I am so happy we will get to enjoy the Tennessee weather this year instead of Minnesota :)Here are some fall fun pictures from 2007-2009.Brett and I have made it a tradition to carve pumpkins together every October. I really want to go to a pumpkin patch this year!

More house pictures

All moved in!

I have not blogged in forever because I've been so busy lately. We closed on our house June 30 (also my birthday) so that was exciting! Everybody kept telling us to get ready to sign our life away, but neither of us really felt like we signed that many papers! We LOVE our new house and are so thankful for everything everyone has given us! My mom gave us a housewarming party last weekend and it turned out great! We were so glad that so many of our friends and family members were able to come! My mom had a cake made that was identical to our house, and it was delicious! She also made a watermelon basket that was a huge hit! Thank you mom for all your hard work!

New house pictures!

Pictures I took at the house today! Obviously we won't be moving in on May 30, but we will definitely be in by June 30! I love love love our brick and mortar color. Brett wasn't so sure about it when we first picked it out, but he loves it now too! All the drywall is hung and hopefully they will finish the brick tomorrow. All the floors, paint colors, cabinets, etc. have been picked out and are ready to go! It has been so much fun watching this all come together! Enjoy the pics :)

Sips n Strokes!

This was my third time to go and of course I had a blast! This time we went to the one in Hendersonville and got to meet Wendy who is the founder of sips n strokes! I was SO excited to meet her! Put and I took a picture with her! Andi went for her first time and did an amazing job! Her flowers looked a little better than mine so I don't think I'll take her next time HA! I think it was Cassie and Katie's first time too. As you can see, their pictures are just fabulous! They were my first owl pals in Chi Omega 5 years ago and I still love them to death!!
