Snow Day!!!

My mom kept telling us to go buy groceries because we were supposed to get soooo much snow. We didn't really believe her because she exaggerates about the weather sometimes, but she was right! It is still snowing here! Brett and I were both off work so we took Teddy out to play. Teddy LOVES the snow!

Our Wedding

I honestly had the wedding I have dreamed about since I was a little girl! I am so blessed to have so many wonderful parents, grandparents and other family members to help with the wedding. I always wanted to have a beach wedding, but to appease my parents I definitely put thought into having the wedding at my church and other locations in Tennessee. Because Brett is from Chattanooga and I am from South Fulton one side was going to have to drive anyway, and I really wanted our location to be special to both of us. So, I finally got my way and started planning a beach wedding. We were married on the first beach we ever went to together.

I am so glad we were married on the beach, but planning a desination wedding is a little stressful. I was so nervous about the caterer and how the actual layout would look because I had never met with these people in person, but it all turned out wonderful! However.. we did have a couple of people pass out! It is so funny to look back at now, but that day..not so funny! At least we didn't pass out!

We would like to thank everyone who made our day so special and we are so blessed to have you all in our lives!

Life in Minnesota

I will never forget the day Brett came over after leaving the career fair last spring. He was telling me about all the companies he talked with and JOKINGLY said, "Oh yeah, I found one that requires me to move to Minnesota." Little did I know we would be living there in a few months! So funny how things happen! Shortly after graduation we packed our things and made the long drive up north with two cars, a u-haul, and family members that we are so thankful for, to help us out! We moved in the summer so the weather wasn't a huge issue. It basically was the same as we have in Tennesse, until about October! Our first day there I was in total shock, this town is tiny. I felt like I had moved home to South Fulton. We had no friends, and nothing to do! We definitely got to spend quality time together! We eventually met people, even found a great Mexican Restaurant, which we ate at almost every night, seriously! I can't believe that our time in Minnesota is over! The 6 months we were there flew by!
