Trip to Chattanooga

This weekend we decided to get away and go to Chattanooga. Of course Brett had to play golf all morning Saturday, so I was just sitting around thinking of something to do! I have never been to the aquarium and have heard so many wonderful things about it! So, we went! It was sooo much fun! My favorites were the penguins, sea turtles and otters! If you have never been, you should definitely go! After the aquarium we went to eat at Big River, my favorite place in Chattanooga, with our friends Russell and Haley!! It's also where we went on my 21st birthday! We had a great weekend and look forward to many more weekend trips to Chatt!

Our soon to be house!

Brett and I are building a house! Our closing date is May 30,2010. We are so so excited and can't wait to see more progress made on it! We will be living in North Jackson close to the Pringles Park area. We meet with our interior designer this Wednesday to pick out floors, paint colors and everything else! We can't wait to have everyone come visit when it's finished!

Sips n Strokes

Sips n Strokes is probably one of my new favorite things to go to! If you have never been, you have to go! You basically can bring wine, sweet tea, whatever you prefer to drink or I should say "sip" while you paint. Everyone paints the same picture and the teacher explains it all!! Jessica, Bree and I have gone together twice. The first picture we painted was a beach scene with a convertible bug with surf boards. This was a little easier because most of it was outlined. Our second picture, the martini glasses had no outline to follow! It was a little harder, but soo much fun! I can't wait to paint many more!
