Most recent pictures of the house. We also changed the color to red brick with black mortar! The roof should go up this weekend and then the electric and plumbing will begin!

This time last year....

I cannot believe that this time last year Brett and I were getting ready to graduate! My four years at MTSU honestly flew by. I am so thankful that my Mammy and Popa, who are both in Heaven now, were able to see me graduate. They pretty much put me through school and were the reason that I was able to move away and experience a new life...and meet Brett :) Everyone who knows me knows how much I miss Murfreesboro!! I almost cry every time we drive through going to Chattanooga. I met the most amazing people there and know they will stay in my life forever! Coming from an extremely small town, graduating high school with under 100 people, and going to the largest undergrad college in Tennessee was definitely a life changing experience! I remember being so nervous about driving hahaha! I see everyone putting things on facebook about how they are so ready to be done with school and I want to write, NO you're not! MTSU has two graduation ceremonies and Brett's was in the morning and mine was in the afternoon. Of course, Brett had a baseball game and couldn't come to mine, but I sat through his and then mine! Looong day! Then I went to his game!

Easter

Happy Easter! Saturday night Memaw, Justin and I made Easter egg candy! It was so good. We made rice crispy treats, shaped them in the form of an egg, dipped them in chocolate and put sprinkles on top. They were really good! I also dyed eggs with Adam and Reid. We have seriously done this since we were all born and I guess we'll do it forever! I am and have always been the first one done with my eggs and then I pout because everyone else still has some to dye haha! Some things will never change! Brett's dad drove down Friday night and went to church with us Sunday morning. We have started going to Englewood Baptist Church here in Jackson and it is an amazing place to worship!! We just got a new worship leader, Travis Cottrell- he along with the rest of the choir is absolutely amazing. I was really upset when we first moved here and didn't think I would ever be able to find another church like New Vision (where we went in Murfreesboro) but I have! After church we drove to good ole South Fulton and had lunch with the rest of my family. My dad had ribs and lots of other deliciious food! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!
